Ponte 16 May holiday highlight: “Ponte 16- Food Festival at Inner Harbor”
From April 29 – May 3, the 5-day stretch of “Ponte 16- Food Festival at Inner Harbor” organized by Pier 16-Resort Hotel Management Ltd. and this first annual culinary showcase will bring together the best local Macau restaurants and some of the finest and specialty international cuisines that can be offered in Macau in this food festival. With complimentary admission entry, guests can enjoy culinary diversity at the Ponte 16 Outdoor Plaza Food Festival, featuring over 20 participating gourmets that will amaze anyone who appreciates an opportunity for a great culinary experience.
Deputy Chief Executive Director, Mr. Hoffman Ma commented that the Food Festival will be a new attraction for tourist during the May Holiday, allowing visitors to experience various cultural dishes at participating vendors, and help stimulating the tourist visits to the Inner Harbor in Macau.
Deputing this year’s food festival, the event is co-organized with renowned Macau along with Ponte 16’s Chinese Restaurant, Chained Taiwanese Specialty Bubble tea//Tapioca Drink other timeless eatery.
“Yee Shun Milk Company”, a well known milk themed dessert delicacy, offers its signature desserts with the use milk for its smooth and soft milk pudding in different varieties of ingredients. Don Bak Yan offers the delicious “Jiaozi” – Chinese dumpling with the “True Northern China Taste” - the first of its kind! Try such evocative delights squid noodle and assorted seafood noodle with Dragon Mama’s signature soup made with shrimp, crab and fish meat. Lastly, indulge your taste buds by trying Tam Kah Shark’s fin, and for this event they are offering a special promotion of $98 for 3 abalones.
Free shuttle bus services to and from Macau Ferry Terminal and Border Gate will be available during the Food Festival. The popular Festival also holds a lucky draw, with prizes that include 999.9 Gold from Chow Tai Fook, German-made Troika products, cash prizes and many more. Upon spending of every $50 at the Food festival, will be entitled one lucky draw ticket, and so on. The 20% of the proceeds from the gross sale of tickets will be donated to a Sichuan Earthquake Fund through the Xinhua Agency.
