Ponte 16 Resort, Macau Presents the "WHEN TAT CHI MET CHI TAT DUO EXHIBITION"
Explore the Renewed Understanding of “Life” and “Home” from an Artistic Perspective
(Hong Kong / Macau, 14 April 2023) In support of the theme “Experience Macao. Unlimited: Spring into Arts” initiated by the Macao Government Tourism Office, Ponte 16 Resort, Macau (hereinafter “Ponte 16”) takes great pleasure to present an exhibition entitled "WHEN TAT CHI MET CHI TAT DUO EXHIBITION" from 15 April to 30 May, 2023. The duo exhibition features Hong Kong renowned fashion designer and media professional, Mr. William Tang, as well as Macau renowned fashion designer and painter, Mr. Vincent Cheang, co-organized by Ponte 16, Macau Cultural Communication Development Association and Zero Distance Cooperative. The exhibition showcases a series of artworks from two esteemed designers from Hong Kong and Macau, including paintings, installations, new fashion design collections, and related merchandises. Each piece is infused with the unique style and creativity, interpreting and exploring their profound thoughts on “life” and “home” through various means of expression.
William Tang from Hong Kong and Vincent Cheang from Macau are both fashion designers, media professionals and artists, who have made their mark in their respective cities. Despite being confined to their locations due to the epidemic, their creative pursuits have not creased. After three years of pandemic, they have each gained new insights into the meaning of “life”. Their collaboration seeks to ignite a different spark and share their renewed understanding of life and home through their artworks, as well as express their passion for art and life.
